CUCA Men’s Basketball, Jason Burke – November 26, 2008 – In a ruling dated October 16, 2008 Commissioner B. Hendsbee determined that Jason Burke was not eligible to compete for CUCA until January of 2009.  It has since been determined that Mr. Burke played for CUCA during five exhibition games as follows: 

  • 09/26/08 vs. MRC (CUCA loss)
  • 09/27/08 vs. SAIT (CUCA win),
  • 10/02/08 KC (CUCA win),
  • 10/03/08 vs. RDC (CUCA win),
  • 10/04/08 vs. MRC (CUCA loss). 

Based on Art. I, Sec., 5, Rule 10.1 CUCA will forfeit each of the three victories outlined above.  In addition, CUCA shall be levied a $500 fine, payable forthwith to the ACAC Office.
