2008-09 SeasonMarch 30, 2009 Augustana Women’s Basketball, Jessica Tomiyama – Jessica Tomiyama played 2 games in the fall of 2008 as a member of the Augustana Women’s Basketball team before a significant injury ended her season. Ms. Tomiyama seeks a ruling that she has not used one year of eligibility in relation to her participation. As per Art. I Sec. 5 Rule 1.3.5 of the ACAC Operation Code, Jessica has provided a letter from the RDC Athletic Director along with a medical report from her physician, confirming that she has sustained a season ending injury. She also competed in no more than 30% of her league schedule. Based on this information Commissioner B. Hendsbee has ruled, Ms. Tomiyama will not have used a year of eligibility in relation to the 2008-09 season. Bill Hendsbee |
