2008-09 Season

January 13, 2009 

Augustana and SAIT Men’s Hockey Suspension, Augustana – Hareuther, Dawn, Jackson, Shepherd, Kempel.  SAIT – Dorowicz, Barrett, Lessard, Guercio, Bassingthwaite.

On January 10, 2009 a number of players from Augustana and SAIT received majors and game misconducts in the last ten minutes of the third period.  In addition, Augustana’s Holfeld received an instigator/fighting major in the last ten minutes of the third period. 

Pursuant to the ACAC Operating Code, all of the above players except Mr. Holfeld are automatically suspended for one game, to be served as follows: 

  • SAIT players, vs. Briercrest on January 16, 2009. 
  • Augustana players, vs. NAIT on January 16, 2009. 

Pursuant to the OC Mr. Holfeld is suspended for two games to be served as follows:  January 16 vs. NAIT, January 17 vs. NAIT.
