A player received a major penalty for tripping and a game misconduct. The action caused an injury to an opponent. It was determined that the action was not intentional.

RULING: 

The player was suspended for one game.

SEE ALSO:  In the same season, a player received a match penalty for a check from behind and a game misconduct. The action resulted in an injury and the player was given a one game suspension. Another player received a major penalty for boarding and a game misconduct, with the action resulting in an injury. This player was also given a one game suspension.
