RULING:

As per ruling 8.3.2.3, the sixth game misconduct is dealt with by the Commissioner, Convenor and Executive Director. For this offence, the player was given a three game suspension and was required to attend a hearing prior to resuming play to determine his acceptability to return to ACAC competition. As per ruling 8.1.2, the Commissioner can apply further or fewer punishments for a match penalty. In this case, with the recommendations from Hockey Alberta, the player was given an additional five game suspension for the physical altercation with an official.
