A student golf competitor had played at another postsecondary institution the previous year. A 2pm, Thursday deadline was set for any transfer forms to be received by the ACAC office to be eligible to compete. The form arrived at the office at 3:15pm due to a delay of the transfer form from the other postsecondary institution. Hence, the competitor was left off of the eligibility list that is distributed Thursday for Friday’s competition.
Ruling:
The golfer is not eligible to participate due to the late arrival of the UTF and the resulting omission of the student from the eligibility list. |
