The trainer for a hockey team spit on a player from the opposing team when he was returning to the bench.
RULING:
The trainer was suspended for 4 games, ordered to write a letter of apology to the opposing team’s coaching staff and placed on probation for the remainder of the year. Any further altercations would result in a 12 month suspension.
